When plug up charger in correct port its hard to get light on. But it comes on. When plug into other USB c port the charging light comes on. When press refresh then press power nothing but light stays solid. But when press escape + press refresh then press power the light flickers blue then back to solid. All of this while plugged up. When it is unplugged the light doesn’t come on nothing. Nor does the chromebook do anything. I have done every single thing I been told to 3 times and nothing. Only thing ain’t done is open the chromebook up.

I think I know what you should do, Bar! It worked for me, so it should work for you! Have you tried instead of 30 seconds, have you tried holding the power button foir 1 minute? It worked for me, so it should work for you! I’m sorry if I’m not much help, but this is all I can do for you.

Thank you for trying to help us in our situation in out chromebooks! I really appreciate it. But I tried holding the power button for 1 minute, and it actually worked! I was so relieved, but I think that maybe Tech Nerd can try it, and it might work! You know, I might be a Tech Nerd, too, because I like technology so much.

Hey guys! The Chromebook I was using had no lights that would come on at all. It wouldn’t even show the charging light when plugged in. I held the power button down for 30 seconds and still nothing. After I held down the power button and refresh button (on the keyboard) down for 3-5 seconds and it came on! So try that! It is now charging and has come on again.
