I’m on step 8. I just finished downloading the software center. But I can’t do step 9. When I put in gksu software center into the terminal, a password prompt shows up and i put in the correct password but after that, nothing happens. I just get a new line in the terminal to enter things . Please help. I’ve tried restarting all over already.
When I’m doing step 8, I see 2 ubuntu spftware centers, one which is like lubuntu software center and another which is similar to ubuntu Kyrin software center.

When I type “shell” the chronos@localhost appears, but when I then type “sudo install -Dt /usr/local/bin -m 755 ~/Downloads/crouton” it says “install: cannot stat ‘ /home/chronos/user/Downloads/crouton’ : No such file or directory.

What can I do?

Yeah I get the same issue. Maybe itā€™s because mine is a uh…. ā€œrepurposedā€ education edition chromebook that was used in schools but I canā€™t get past the password part.
