In reply to Noel.

I set up my Chromebook with a New Google account. Then later I shut it down. After booting up again I was faced with an ENTER pin lock screen? But I never went through the following steps to create a pin/password lock screen. So I tried using the password to the newly created Google account and that didn't work either. Now I'm stuck in gust mode on a NEW CHROMEBOOK

In reply to Noel.

Hi Noel,

It depends on what you're doing. These settings should be reversible if you find that it doesn't work out for you. They can be toggled from the Chrome Settings page.

Using a "Guest" account, setting up PIN unlock, and disabling sleep mode all are easy to undo. Since we're not messing with the core of Chrome OS, you can easily switch back if you don't like the setting.

If there's something in particular you're looking to modify and have questions about, let me know!

Thanks.
