.io games are great in general, but there are a few I’ve played that have a much higher skill cap, so you can keep playing them, getting better, etc – agario can get boring as there isn’t really a whole lot to learn in terms of skill. Bonk.io is a multiplayer physics game with a lot of depth in skill, and the whole game is played on player built maps, so every round you play will be WILDLY different in strategy and skillset needed depending on what map you’re on. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a skill game that they can put time into. Gats.io is a top down, minimalist graphics shooter game with, again, an incredibly high skill ceiling. Lots of tech skill, precision, reflexes, and a good bit of strategizing – but you can also just play range and a heavy gun, and play brainlessly, you don’t have to be a god to have fun. It also features stats.gats.io, which lists stuff like overall hours, top scores, killstreaks, k/d ratios, etc, for anyone with an account. This combined with the active clan system makes for some community competition. The one major downside to gats is that the community can be very toxic, and because of that, new players are often quickly discouraged to come back, so the playerbase is now extremely small (most ever online at once is around 150, between 6 public servers, private servers, and custom servers). If you want respectful players, or are prone to ragequitting quickly, this is not the game for you – play bonk.io instead lol.

Hey just wanted to point out, its not the BEST game, but for some fps players out there, there is a .io game called krunker.io, the graphics are on the low side, but as simple as the game is its pretty fun and very competitive.
(no download needed FYI)
